Josh grew up in Kilmarnock and went to school in East Renfrewshire: same exams, very different starting lines. JADAMSTUTOR started with one idea: pupils who have just been through National 5 and Higher are some of the best people to help the next year group through.
We keep prices as low as we can, so expert SQA support is open to every family in Scotland, not just the privileged few.

Questions parents ask.
How much does tutoring cost?
A single one-hour session is £25. A monthly subscription is £100 for 5 sessions, which works out at £20 a session. There is no joining fee.
Which levels and subjects do you cover?
We tutor 16 subjects across National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher, including Maths, Applications of Maths, English, Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business Management, Modern Studies, History, Music, Italian, Graphic Communication, Administration and IT, Media and PE. The Subjects page lists every level. If yours is not there, get in touch and we will try to help.
Are sessions online or in person?
Sessions are one-to-one and online by video call, so pupils anywhere in Scotland can join. All you need is a device, a working internet connection and a quiet place to work.
How do I book a session?
Choose a tutor, date and time on the booking calendar and pay to confirm. You will get a confirmation email straight away. A short video on the booking section shows you how.
Can I cancel or move a session?
Yes. Cancel or move a session up to 48 hours before it starts at no charge, using the link in your confirmation email. Less than 48 hours’ notice means the session is charged in full.
How does the monthly subscription work?
You pay £100 a month and get 5 sessions to book within 50 days of each payment. It renews monthly and you can cancel any time, effective from the end of the period you have paid for.
